Its not an exact reproduction of any Yoda i've seen, wheres the fun in that? I was bored, i was sculpting, this is the result.
Before people point out that Yoda is actually older/younger, green/yellow etc etc.
I know, i know, i know. I didn't have a picture of yoda next to me and if i did i wouldn't have looked at it. My school of thought is if your going to do something that isn't your own you should at least try and make it your own.
Besides its always bugged me how much Yoda looks like a baby, 400 years old without even a little tiny piece of a sagging chin? i didn't realise a jedi would be vain enough to use his control over gravity on his face.
Now that i think about it...yoda and mao could be quite comparable if you look at yoda in the same light you would any religous dictator hell bent on the distruction of opposing religions. Of course that argument means the Dalai Lama is an agent for the dark side but the buddhists don't have a hell to send me to so fuck it.

This is sweet man. The only thing that kind of bugs me is the big chunk of ear he has towards the outer lower part of the ear. Seems like it might look better skinnier. Were u using z-brush for your sculpting? The sagging cheeks and everything else is really fantastic

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
